Home for the Holidays

    I never know what my holidays are going to bring. Some times my mom's family gets together but I don't think we are doing that this year. At some point my dad's family gets together but we are never sure when they will come in. They live in South Carolina and have five kids so it is hard to get them in at a certain time. Sometimes it gets anoying  trying to get together with them, but it all works out somehow.

Santa Claus

    If  I could give any gift to somebody I would give my grandmother knowledge. She is getting old and for some reason she is not using her brain so it is not working. If she got knowledge it would give alot more people happiness then just her. It would make her children (my aunts and my dad) happiness because they would not have to worry about her all the time. It would make me happy because I would not be worried about her and I would not have to listen to my parents talk about what she did or forgot to do. My present would help alot more people then just my grandmother.

Snow days

     For my perfect snowday I would get up at 8:30. I would call some friends and invite them over. When they got there we would go sledding down my yard. After a few hours we would go inside and warm up. After we thawed we would have lunch.
    After lunch we will go to a huge hill behind my house. The hill is so big it might take us a hour just to get to the top. When we get to the top we will all be tired so we will rest a few minutes then we will sled down the hill. It will be so much fun we will do it again. It will snow all day long. We will play in the snow behind my house for a while. When we finally start to walk back to the house a huge blizzard will hit and we will have to stand in the middle of it.
    We will get more than three feet of snow in the blizzard. We will walk back to my house through the three feet  of snow to thaw out again. My mom will tell us they closed school for the rest of the week. I will call all of my friends parents and ask if they can spend the night and there parents say yes. It is getting late so we eat supper and go to bed. We do it all again the next day.

Planning your game

    We have been planning our games. We made teams for our wiki. We are a team of one. We updated pictures and lots of stuff. It was not to hard.

My Game Idea

    My game idea is: In my game you will see a screen that asks you to log in. Once you have signed in you will be brought up to the place that you left off last on my game. Then depending on where you are on the game will depend on what you see next. If you are just getting started with the game then you will see a screen with one sentence on it. That sentence will have two words in parenthesis. There will also be about five different religions around the sentence. You will have to choose which religion you think the sentence or quote came from and which word in the parenthesis would fit the quote. If you pick the correct religion you will get a point, if you pick the correct word in parenthesis you will get a point, if you miss one of the two you will lose a point.
I am excited to play around with flash some and see whate all I can do with it. I am also excited to see whate everyone else will do. I will use bing with me game to find information. I will also use google with my information.

In Globaloria I hope to learn about games. I hope to learn about how games are made and how long it takes to make a game. I am excited to make my own game. I am scared I will do something wrong. I think it will be fun.

Mini game

We made mini games for the past few daies. It was kind of fun and kind of anoying making the mini games. Some parts were harder then other parts. We read the directions on our wiki page to see whate to do. We added a bunny, a carrot, and a wolf. Each item had a different job we had to make it do.

Choosing A Topic

    We have to choose a topic that has to do with humanities and english.  I am doing my game on religions. It will have to do with subject verb agreement. My game will be fun and educational at the same time. Most of the links I have found will be helpful but some have too much information.

Game Idea

    I have a few ideas for my game.  I  know that it has to have to do with English and humanities. That gives me a lot of options. I could have to do with anything in English like the eight part of speech or anything.  With humanities I could do something like religion, history, economics, ect. There are so many possabilities.

Internet Safety

       We learned a lot of things about internet saftey. We learned to never give out our last name. We also learned to never give out anything personal. I learned about cyber bullying. The internet can be helpful or not.

Wikis and Blogs

    I had a few problems with creating my wiki and blog. My wiki was not too hard. A few things were a little confusing. I had alot of problems with my blog. I kept forgetting my password. When I did get on I was not sure what to do.

Playing to learn

    I liked the games I played. They showed me what the people before me have done. That helped me see what I was suposed to do with my game. It also gave me ideas for what to do with my games.
